At Bitone, we believe it is not enough to provide humanitarian aid, it is essential that we empower our children to live self sustainably and to break the cycle of aid dependence. Our skills training program equips children with artistic, leadership and life skills on which to build their futures. Children acquire self confidence and develop talents that lead to future job creation, self sustainability and empowerment. They receive training and attain skills in assembling and repairing music instruments, music recording, painting and other vocational sectors like jewellery making. They work individually and in groups and these projects enable them to also develop leadership and teamwork skills.
